With the highly competitive job market, the Seniors’ Club 2023, in collaboration with the KCC Mall of Gensan, makes sure that this year’s graduating students would be at par with the demands of the career opportunities, through a job coaching activity held at KCC Convention Center, May 10.

Over 500 seniors attended the said event which was aimed at enhancing their employability skills and equipping them with the necessary skills to excel in job interviews and create impressive resumes.

The job coaching activity was graced by KCC Talent Acquisition Manager Princess Narvasa who emphasized that while intellect and skills are essential in securing a job, applicants should also possess the “right attitude.”

“Answer with humility in answering job interview questions… and behave and act as expected,” she advised the pre-service teachers.

Meanwhile, the Seniors’ Club president, Brian Jay Casas, hopes that such an event equipped the graduating seniors with the “tools to navigate the professional world and embrace the challenges that lie ahead.

“The benefits of a successful job coaching activity extend far beyond securing employment opportunities. By providing personalized guidance, honing essential skills, and fostering self-belief, may we have empowered our graduating seniors to pursue their dreams with confidence and resilience,” Casas remarked.

The Seniors’ Club is also set to hold the Seniors’ Week in late June, which includes a Job Fair and the Senior’s Night.
