The College of Agriculture claimed victory in this year’s Sing and Dance Quartet, dethroning last year's champions, the College of Engineering, with a powerful "girl power" performance during the Intramurals 2024 Musical Night held at the University Gymnasium on October 13.
In the final five minutes of the 7-minute performance, the Reapers soared to the top, captivating the audience with a dynamic showcase of music and dance. Their routine featured a timeline of iconic songs, from “Mr. Sandman” to Little Mix, representing women across generations from the 1960s to the present.

Althea Jaznhyn Dela Cruz, a fourth-year BS Animal Science student and performer for the Reapers, shared how the team overcame scheduling conflicts and a lack of preparation by relying on their passion and teamwork.
“Napakagaling ng mga kalaban namin, di naman sa kami ang pinakamagaling pero will talaga ni Lord na kami ang manalo. This is really my desire kasi since second year ako, now I’ll be able to graduate na naka champion,” Dela Cruz shared in her gratitude for their victory.
Meanwhile, Kurt Colley Cayunda of the College of Engineering, though saddened by their loss, expressed pride in their retro-themed performance, which earned them the 1st runner-up spot. Followed by another ‘girl power’ theme from the Senior High as the 2nd runner-up.
The Reapers' triumph showcased their determination and unity proving that "girl power" can truly lead to a champion’s crown.
