MSU-Gensan bet is Miss Glamour Look Philippines 2022

Miss Mindanao State University-General Santos City (MSU-GSC) 2018 and a BS in Accountancy student, Kimberly Porras, bagged the coveted crown of Miss Glamour Look Philippines 2022 at Tanghalang Pasigueno, Pasig City, December 7.

The newly crowned beauty queen also got the Miss Grand Arrival Look, Best in Long Gown, and Best in National Costume awards.

The 23-year-old slayer is set to represent the Philippines in the Miss Glamour Look International 2023 at Bali, Indonesia.

Championing IP height

Porras advocates for "IPheight" which focuses on Indigenous People (IP) communities whose rights are deprived and empower pageant ladies to not stop their dreams of becoming a beauty queen amidst challenge of pageant standards.

"To all of my small girl sisters in pageantry, I aspire to see more of you "empowered women" on stage that no matter how complex societal standards are, still strive to weave your dreams into reality," she quoted in her official Facebook account.

In her further words of encouragement, she stated, "If I, a 5'2 T'boli woman from the Municipality of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato was able to clutch a National Pageant Title and will represent our country, Philippines in the International Stage (Bali, Indonesia), I know you can too."
