MSU-DOST's Donation Drive During SASE Bolsters Support for Gensan's First Integrated IP School

In a remarkable display of generosity and solidarity, the Association of DOST Scholars (ADS) at MSU-Gensan organized a donation drive during the recent MSU System Admission and Scholarship Examination (SASE), February 25.

The donation drive, facilitated by the ADS at MSU-Gensan in partnership with the Engineering Students Organization (ESO), offered a simple yet impactful exchange: donors could contribute five pencils and receive an Engineering Students Organization (ESO) lanyard in return.

This collaborative effort aimed to support the Danie-Alegado IP Integrated School, marking a meaningful step towards enhancing educational opportunities for Indigenous Peoples (IP) in General Santos City.

"Sila ang first IP integrated school sa Gensan, and adopted school namo sila," Mherzel Apusaga, ADS President said.

"Amoa siyang i-donate sa amoang next visit [in the school], and target namo is the end week of March." Apusaga added.

From a post on the president's social media account on Facebook, she claims that the donation drive accumulated exactly 900 pencils.

This commitment reflects the ADS's dedication to supporting the Danie-Alegado IP Integrated School, demonstrating their ongoing engagement and assistance to uplift education within the Indigenous Peoples community.
