Both alumnae of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH), the College of Law (COL) contenders dethroned CSSH from their title, while the College of Engineering (COE) and the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) retained their 1st and 2nd runner-up titles, respectively.
COL’s Jehan Stephanie Egao and Althea Pearl Brynn Sapa, revealed that their win came as a surprise as they initially hadn’t planned on participating.

“We really didn’t expect na madaog mi kay one day na practice lang kasi ang nangyari and funnily enough, galing din kami CSSH. So, actually di ko alam anong ma feel kay parang hindi pa ga sink in sa akin,” Sapa said in an interview with Bagwis after the announcement of winners.
“Last Thursday lang actually naka decide na mag join ng vocal duet, kasi the COL, we’re not supposed to join Intramurals kasi. We were opting not to,” Sapa added.
Moreover, they explained that their decision to participate is influenced by having represented COL in the same event last year.
“Kami nag decide kami na mag join kasi last year, kami rin nag join, kami rin dalawa. We were actually having fun lang doon kanina sa stage, if you can see we were laughing after [the performance],” they both shared.
On a separate note, COE has been a consistent podium finisher, securing 2nd runner-up in 2022 and 1st runner-up in 2023.
Similarly, CBAA demonstrated strong performances, earning 1st runner-up in 2022 and clinching 2nd runner-up in 2023.
